I'm going to Ikea tomorrow! :) I've never been there and I'm super-stoked about it, especially since I get to go to SHOP, rather than just look around. :) I've had the same dresser since I was 5-years-old, and it's time for a new one. No matter what I do (even getting rid of clothes), I absolutely canNOT close the drawers anymore. It's ridiculous and makes my dresser look stupid, so I'm fixing this problem tomorrow!

Okay, so I know you're probably now all reading this going, "Holy shit, she's alive!" Yes, I am, and I know I've been a horrible LJer for a long time...mainly because my life is boring and all my posts would be the same and also because I got sucked into MySpace (and I apparently do not know how to multitask with multiple websites such as these).

Since I really don't want to bore you all with the mundane details of my everyday life for the past like, 2 months, here's a quick recap:

-My (preschool) job sucks ass. I still love my job, but I hate the people that I work for. In fact, I've convinced myself to stay there until at least October (because October 4th will be 1 year that I've worked there). I hate the way it's run and our new director is pretty much a bitch of epic proportions. I've also still been looking for Child Life jobs, and MedHunters.com was kind enough this morning to inform me that Sunrise Children's in Las Vegas has TWO such job openings, so the next couple days will be spent beefing up my resume (again) and I'll be applying for those. :)

-I've spent the past month and a half working on a scrapbook for my mom's birthday that's this Monday. It's a scrapbook of our Vegas trip from March when we saw the Mariners there. I've had to do this project in our trailer because if I did it in the house, then my mom would see it. It's actually been kind of fun, because it's a couple of house each day that I've had all to myself. Just me, the scrapbooking, and random DVDs or music that I can be loud with. The joke in my house though is that I'm building my mom a Vespa for her birthday, so I ordered a miniature (miniature = 6"x4") Vespa to give her as a gag gift before I give her the scrapbook.

-Even though my preschool job sucks, I'm still having a blast with the Mariners. I've even heard rumors that they want me to stay on through the offseason as a weekend person. Of course, these are just rumors, and the managers haven't said anything to me about it yet, so we'll see. If I do it, it'll definitely just be one day during the weekend.

-No boyfriend. No prospects. Guys suck.

I think that's it! I've very much missed you all, and I promise that I'm going to start updating and commenting and all that stuff again. Thanks to matchboxforever for the LJ Nudge that I got in my email the other day. :)

I'm going to two Seahawks games this season, so I've decided that I don't want to be the most ignorant person at Qwest Field and I bought The Idiot's Guide to Football today. :)

I've been a serious LJ-slacker lately. I'm still here, I'm still reading everyone's posts, I'm just not posting on my own or making too many comments. :) I'll try to do better!

Okay, so I know I always say that I'll post pictures after a trip and I never do, so HERE! I'm actually posting some of the pictures from Andrea's wedding!! :) Woo!!

And I must say, I look damn good in these pictures, especially given how sick I was.

So, it took what I think came down to Divine Intervention, but I was able to see Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest last night. I say Divine Intervention because I totally wanted to see it on Opening Day, but I had two sets of plans with two different people fall through, and I was afraid that I was going to have to see it by myself (which, I hate seeing movies alone anyway, but especially this one). However, I ended up going with one of my girls from work (thanks again, Jess!) to the 11 pm show (yes, 11 pm...the three earlier showtimes were already sold out by the time I got to the theater). The movie was awesome, however, the freakin' theater was SO COLD that Jessica and I both sat there for 2 1/2 hours shivering because we were completely freezing...so that didn't help things, so I think I probably missed parts of the movie because I was so focused on how cold I was. Darn, that means I'll have to go see it again.

On a different movie note, my dad left for his annual prairie dog hunting trip to Montana today, so my mom and I went to Hollywood Video tonight to get movies for the week! We pick a different theme each time we do this (last time, it was Robert DeNiro movies), and this time, we decided to just pick six movies that neither of us had seen (we thought it'd be a more difficult task, because I've seen a lot of movies!!). We got: Six Degrees of Seperation (a totally RANDOM Will Smith/Stockard Channing movie that was made in like, 1993...if you want off-the-wall, watch it!), The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Made, Emma, In Good Company, and Thirteen Conversations About the Same Thing. We only watched the Will Smith one tonight, so we'll do more when I get home from work tomorrow.

I also bought 4 new movies last week. Damn Best Buy and Target for having really good sales!!

My feelings: bouncy bouncy

I (finally!) got my hair cut today. I've been wanting to get it cut for like two months now, but because of Andrea's wedding, I decided to wait to do it. Now, especially with it being so bloody hot here lately, it's been driving me nuts! My hair is very thick, so I wanted to get it cut so that it sat on my shoulders, because then it wouldn't be so heavy when down and I could still pull it into a ponytail.

Well...it's now about an inch and a half shorter than I wanted it to be.

I specifically told the lady what I wanted, how I wanted it cut, and where I wanted it cut to. I told her that because my hair is SO naturally curly, she needed to cut it like an inch below my shoulders, because when it's dry, my hair bounces up. I even showed her on my shoulders where I wanted her to cut it. All told, she should've cut like 2 1/2 inches off.

Yeah, um, my hair is now like 4 inches shorter than it was this morning. It actually is pretty cute, but it's just a hell of a lot shorter than I wanted it to be. But it's ligther and definitely will be cooler this summer than all that extra weight before would have allowed.

However, it really would have been nice if she'd listened to me in the first place.

My feelings: tired tired

I want to get a haircut. My hair is too long and too thick for the hotness we've got going on here lately. I was trying to figure out when I could go, and unfortunately, I think the soonest I can get anything done about this is next freakin' Wednesday. Boo, hiss.

I got home from Ashland last night. It was super hot there with a million percent humidity, but the first two days were full of kick-ass thunder and lightening storms (oh my gosh, these storms were HUGE), so it was okay. :)

Andrea's wedding was awesome and the bride looked gorgeous. :) At the reception, I got to dance and flirt with the super-cute best man, which I think might have been the highlight of the whole event.

That's it for now. I'll try to post some pictures later, but I have to go to work now and when I get home, I have to unpack or it'll continue to drive me insane.

Bridesmaid dress: check.

Black strapless bra: check.

Black strappy shoes for bridesmaid dress: check.

Rehearsal dinner outfit: check.

Bachelorette party outfit: in progress.

So, I'm completely done buying all the random stuff that I need for my trip to Ohio for Andrea's wedding next week. I refuse to buy something new for the bachelorette party, so I'm just going to have to go through my clothes and find something that I already have. :)

Sunday, I work at the team store, then Monday I have to work at the preschool, then Tuesday, I'm off! I'm sooooooo excited!

My feelings: excited excited
